The GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) Program, under MeitY Startup Hub, supports early-stage innovators from Tier-II and Tier-III cities in electronics, IT, and deeptech. It provides mentorship, incubation, and financial assistance to transform ideas into prototypes.
Eligibility criteria for GENESIS EiR Grant
Eligible Founders
Indian citizens (student founders or founders ≤ 2 years old)
Tier-II/III City Based
Startup should belong to Tier-II or Tier-III city
Focus Domains
ICT, Electronics, Deeptech (AI, IoT, VLSI, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cybersecurity)
Incubation
Must be physically incubated at JECRC Incubation Centre
